Sara Caracristi (b.1983) spent her formative years in Riverview, New Brunswick. She is
best known for her paintings depicting human figures in the urban environment from a
bird’s eye perspective. Sara graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD
University in 2006 and currently works and resides as a full-time artist in Halifax
(Kjipuktuk).
Sara has been involved in various group and solo exhibitions throughout Canada as well as
International Art fairs. Her work is in numerous private and corporate collections such as
the Nova Scotia Art Bank, Canadian chamber of Commerce, Scotiabank, the
Department of Foreign Affairs, and TD Waterhouse Cooper amongst others.
